Cold oil does not flow well and therefore does not adequately lubricate your engine. Moving cold oil also robs power. Designed to bypass your oil cooler until oil temperature reaches 215 degrees, these kits help your engine oil reach the proper operating temperature quickly. The thermostat housings are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion. They are 6" tall with a blue anodized finish. They come with a stainless steel mounting clamp and accept -12 o-ring fittings.
