of Marine Silencers developed for performance boaters.

Gibson’s marine line is an extension of performance products that have been
developed from years of personal involvement with boating. Currently, Gibson
performance continues to push the performance edge with testing on the Gibson
44’ Super Cat MTI, race teams around the country, and on down to a 1994 27’
Eliminator Daytona with twin 800’s
Gibson Marine has recently added a
new silencer to the already large Marine line. These silencers were specifically
designed for smaller displacement motors such as 350 Magnum, 454, 460, 455, 496,
496HO, and the 6.2L.
The Gibson Power Tip Marine Silencers have proven to reduce decibel ranges within
and to surpass the 88db limits required by the California SAE J2005 Motorboat
Sound Law without compromising power. The Gibson Power Tip mufflers are
manufactured from highly polished T-304 stainless steel and are designed with
Gibson’s patented clamp-less system for hassle free installation. Power Tip
Marine Mufflers are also available with OE style thru-transom mounts to provide
the factory look without the factory sound.
