MSD's patented Multiple Spark Discharge (MSD) technology amplifies AND multiplies the distributor's spark to insure the most complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture possible. This results in more power, easier starting, reduced plug fouling, and increased fuel economy. MSD Ignition boxes can be added to your existing ignition system (including Mercury Thunderbolt) or in conjunction with a MSD billet distributor for optimum performance. Utilizes weathertight connectors and Dupont Restech potting compound to protect against the harsh marine environment. Meets all U.S Coast Guard requirements.
